The Samoa Strong website provides a medium for the Samoa Seasonal Employment Unit (SEU) which resides in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour, to inform audiences and stakeholders of Samoa’s contribution to and participation in the New Zealand Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) programme.
The RSE programme operates under the ‘Samoa Strong’ brand and is a gateway for New Zealand employers who wish to access hard working, reliable and trustworthy employees that have consistently high levels of productivity and excellent work habits.
Samoa acknowledges the support provided by the New Zealand Government through the Strengthening Pacific Partnerships initiative, in the development of this Samoa Strong website and database.
Talofa Lava and welcome to the Samoa Strong website
The NZ RSE programme allows eligible Pacific workers to undertake seasonal work for an approved employer in the horticulture or viticulture industries in New Zealand.
Find out what RSE employers and employees have to say about this great opportunity which you can be a part of.
New Zealand horticulture and viticulture employers need anywhere between 5,000 and 7,000 seasonal workers during peak harvest.
As a RSE worker it is important to know what rights and obligations you have at work and being safe in the workplace.
